OLD GUEST RULES & REGULATIONS

Welcome to Aloha Kai

There are just a few guest rules that we ask that you observe to make your stay and the stay of other Aloha Kai guests safer and more enjoyable.  Thank you.

 

  • The use of charcoal or propane grills is not permitted inside screened lanais.
  • All garbage must be properly bagged, sealed, and placed in the trash silos or cans outside the villa.  
  • Recyclables are to be placed in the exterior bins provided at each villa.
  • Contractor work hours are limited to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  No work is permitted on holidays or weekends unless in emergencies.
  • No water containing soap, dirt, cleaning materials, construction debris or vehicle fluids is allowed to be dumped in drainage holes.
  • An effort should be made to always keep noise to a minimum, particularly between the hours of 9p.m. to 8a.m daily.
  • Villas shall be used only for residential purposes; there shall be no business or commercial use of any villa.
  • No offensive or unlawful use shall be made of Aloha Kai property and all valid laws, zoning ordinances and regulations of all governmental bodies having jurisdiction shall be observed.
  • All drying or hanging, for any purpose, of clothes, towels or other unsightly objects by line, rack or otherwise must be kept inside the lanai and not outside the villa.

 

 

  • Guests will be given 1 parking space specifically assigned to their villa.   Parking is limited to noncommercial passenger automobiles, motorcycles, noncommercial trucks with a capacity of 1 ton or less, golf carts, and noncommercial vans.  Motor homes, campers, boats (including kayaks), trailers or trucks (over 1 ton) are not to be parked on Aloha Kai property.  Golf carts may only be parked in the villa’s one designated parking spot and must have a parking permit visible.
  • Parking areas and roads are not playgrounds for children.  No roller skates, roller blades or skateboards are permitted on the premises.
  • The top speed limit on Aloha Kai roads is 10mph and must be observed as well as one way traffic signage. Caution must be used when approaching intersections.
  • Delivery vehicles may be parked near villa entrances only when they are in active use or as long as reasonably needed to provide delivery or service.
  • No excessive vehicle fluid leaking is allowed, including but not limited to brake fluid, antifreeze, transmission fluid, oil, or gasoline.
  • Charging of electric vehicles is prohibited from individual villas.
  • No parking is permitted on Aloha Kai streets.  Towaway zones are marked and will be enforced.

 

 

 

  •  All audio equipment such as radios, cd players, and blue tooth devices must be kept silent on the tiled deck area around the pool.
  • No smoking is permitted on the tiled deck area around the pool, rec room, office, and shuffleboard area.
  • Pool hours are 7 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. All posted pool rules must be followed. 
  • Swim at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. All children must be supervised by an adult.
  • Recreation room hours  are the  same as office hours.  Arrangements to use the rec room at other hours must be made with the office manager and users of the rec room are expected to always keep it clean and orderly.
  • All Aloha Kai property such as chairs are to remain on the pool deck.  Chairs at the beach which have been moved must be returned to the areas surrounding the shelters when guests are done with them.
  • Aloha Kai pool tags are required to be worn in a visible manner at the pool.

 

 

 

  • No pets are allowed at Aloha Kai except for CERTIFIED service animals. Certification documentation must be provided at the time of reservation and again at check in.  Improper behavior by animals or improper disposal of animal waste will result in the eviction of the renter.

 

  • The time period of May 1-October 31 is turtle breeding season.  Villas near the beach should close blinds and curtains and avoid the use of outdoor lighting during this time. Turtle nests on the beach will be marked and must remain undisturbed.
